Wells Aitken is the Director of Operations at Stop It Goaltending. Wells brings over 30 years of business experience to the Stop It Goaltending front office.
He has been the Managing Partner of Weather II Properties, LLC, a company specializing in buying, selling and leasing mineral rights, since 2002. He has also been an informal business advisor to Stop It Goaltending since 2012 and until 2023 had an equity stake in the company. Previously, he also served as a management consultant with Accenture.
Aitken has dual Master’s Degrees (Master of Business Administration and Master of Management Information Systems) with High Honors from Boston University and graduated with a BA from Hamilton College (Clinton, NY) in 1992.
Wells has been a long time ice hockey official. He began officiating ice hockey during his Senior year at Phillips Academy and has been officiating games under USA Hockey, the MIAA, NCAA and NEPSAC since 1988.
