It’s hard to imagine feeling alone in a crowded room but that is a goalie ‘s world. Goaltending is the greatest position in all of sports but they are often neglected until the fate of the team rests on their shoulders. At Stop It Goaltending, goalies are our number 1 priority. Everything we do is to provide goalies the tools and confidence for them to succeed both on and off the ice. We pride ourselves on innovation, being on the cutting edge of goaltending development and have created a world class curriculum, environment, apps and network.
Our passionate and experienced coaches are dedicated to maximizing every goalies potential and enjoyment of the position. We offer lessons year round and a full lineup of summer programs. Our Stop it Goaltending U app provides goalies, goalie parents and goalie coaches the opportunity to grow their understanding of the game, get feedback and receive mentorship all within a supportive community. The SIG Game Day app is our evaluation tool that provides goalies with an objective evaluation of their performance. The Bridge is a season-long academy for academic and athletic achievement. SIG DIRECTORS
The Stop It Goaltending staff is comprised of professional and college goaltending coaches. In the summer, our Directors are assisted by some of the top professional and college coaches in the nation, as well as SIG students currently playing pro or college hockey. The following is a listing of our goalie coaches.
Brian Daccord
Brian Daccord is the President and Founder of Stop It Goaltending as well as the goalie coach of the Boston University Terriers Men’s Hockey Team. He recently served as the Special Assistant to the General Manager and Director of Goaltending Operations for the Arizona Coyotes and prior to joining the Coyotes spent five seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs in goaltending scouting and development. He was the goaltending coach for Adler Mannheim in the DEL for six seasons, winning the German Championship in 2014-2015 under head coach Geoff Ward. He has also served on the staff of head coaches Pat Burns, Mike Keenan, and Robbie Ftorek while goaltending coach for the Boston Bruins.
A native of Montreal, Quebec, Daccord played college hockey at Merrimack College which led to a seven-year professional career in the Swiss National “A” League. Following retirement, he returned to North America and earned a Master’s Degree in Sports Management and authored the book “Hockey Goaltending” selling over 40,000 copies. Brian also released “How To Be A Goalie Parent” on August 1, 2021. His latest book, recently published, “How To Be A Goalie” in November of 2022. He began his coaching career as an assistant at his Alma Mata while establishing Stop It Goaltending, LLC, which now trains over 1,000 goalies annually and has produced over 25 NHL draft picks. He is also the founder of the Bridge Program, the Stop It Goaltending GCG Prospects Event, and co-founder of the Greatness Lab.
John Carratu
John Carratu is currently the director of coaching for Stop It Goaltending. John spent a decade coaching in Hockey East splitting time coaching between Northeastern and Merrimack college. During that time he coached an All-American goaltender, Hobey Baker finalist, Hockey East player of the year, Hockey East goalie of the year, three goalies who signed NHL contracts, and two that appeared in NHL games. As a collegiate goaltender at Plymouth State John was a multiple player of the week winner while taking his team to the league playoffs. Upon graduation from Salem State with a degree in education, John taught for three years before entering the coaching profession.
Brian Robinson
Brian Robinson is currently a director and video coordinator at Stop It Goaltending and the goaltending coach for Harvard University. Brian also coached professionally in The German DEL for Adler Mannheim as well as Bentley University from 2011-2015. Brian began his career at SIG by assisting in the development of a video scouting system for NHL teams. He played a pivotal role in developing a service that allows goaltenders to receive critical game analysis via the internet. He also gained practical experience with the Boston Bruins while completing his degree in communications from Worcester State.
Brian currently conducts lessons and video sessions at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, MA, and is currently the Player Development Goaltending Coordinator for Massachusetts hockey and was recently recognized by The New England Hockey Journal as one of the top 40 hockey minds under the age of 40. Most recently, he helped design “the Path” program which provides elite goalies consistent support throughout their careers.
Clay Adams
Clay Adams is the Stop It Goaltending Director at our Foxboro Sports Center Location. He is currently the goaltending Scout of the Arizona Coyotes.
Clay most recently served as the Goalie Coach and Assistant Coach for the Lincoln Stars of the USHL where last season one of his goaltenders was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens and the other signed an NHL entry-level contract with the San Jose Sharks. Clay’s career started by interning with the Washington Capitals while completing his Master’s Degree from Georgetown University and then as the Director of Player Development, Goalie Coach at Bridgton Academy.
After Bridgton, he has served as the goalie coach at Stonehill College, Connecticut College, and Bentley University. After spending two seasons in the USHL with the Lincoln Stars, Clay came back to Massachusetts to run the Foxboro Sports Center Location.
Jeff Walker
Jeff Walker is Stop It Goaltending’s Director for the Springfield, MA location. Jeff Works as the Assistant Coach for the Western New England University Men’s Hockey Team. Jeff spent the past 2 years as the Head of Research and Development for the Arizona Coyotes along with serving as a Goaltending Consultant for the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL) in the 22-23 season.
Jeff has trained professional, college, prep school, high school, and youth goalies and currently conducts goalie lessons at MCU Training Center in Agawam, MA. Jeff has worked with the Stop It Goaltending PGD and DHNL programs as well as the GCG Men’s camps since 2013.
Andrew Raycroft
Former Boston Bruin goaltender and Calder Trophy winner, Andrew Raycroft, is on the ice every day at the Bridge and goes out to see each Bridge goalie play in games live twice each season. Andrew Raycroft is currently a Director at Stop It Goaltending for the Bridge Program. Andrew had an 11-year NHL career where he played for teams such as the Bruins, Maple Leafs, Avalanche, Canucks, and Stars. During his time in the NHL, he accomplished winning the Calder Trophy (Rookie of the Year) and was selected to the NHL All-Rookie Team. In Andrew’s junior hockey days, he played 3 years in the OHL while accomplishing awards such as the OHL Goaltender of the Year, Outstanding Player of the Year and lead the OHL with the highest save percentage in his last year (.924). After his playing days, Andrew began his coaching career at the University of Connecticut serving as the Goaltending Coach for three years. He is actively involved with the Bruins Alumni Association along with being a Hockey Analyst for NESN.
Moe Bradley
Moe Bradley, from Swampscott, Massachusetts, has an extensive coaching resume, which includes stints as the goaltender coach for USA Hockey, Multi-District Camp in 2016, and an internship coaching role for USA Hockey, National Development Camp. In these positions, she was responsible for evaluating goaltenders for National Team Consideration. Moe currently serves as the UMass Boston Women’s Hockey Head Coach.
Bradley comes to Stop It after beginning her coaching career as a Graduate Assistant at Stevenson and Suffolk University. While completing her Masters of Arts in Communications, she was responsible for game bench management, goaltender development, scouting, recruiting, and the team’s social media presence. In addition to her coaching role at Stevenson, she served as the Assistant Instructor of Student-Athletes Dedicated to Developing Leadership and Excellence (SADDLE).
Before coaching, Bradley wrapped up her collegiate playing career at UMass Boston after two seasons with the Beacons in 2015. As a transfer from the University of New Hampshire, she was the first player in program history to be named a New England Hockey Writers Association All-Star. She also picked up ECAC Second-Team All-Start status as a junior in 2014.
Zach Perkins
Zach Perkins has been a Director at Stop It Goaltending since 2016 primarily at the Springfield, MA location. Zach currently works as the Head Coach for Anna Maria College Women’s Hockey Team (NCAA D3). He has also worked at PGD and DNHL programs at several other locations, as well as being part of the GCG coaching staff since 2017.
Jeremy Flibotte
Jeremy Flibotte is a Stop It Goaltending Director at our Woburn Location. He currently serves as the Goaltending Coach for UMass Boston (NCAA D3). Jeremy grew up playing his youth hockey for a AAA Tier 1 organization located in Salem, New Hampshire called Top Gun where he won an Eastern Hockey Federation championship. Then went on to play for Eastern Mass Senators U16 and U18, where he made a national appearance. Next, he went on to play his high school hockey in Massachusetts at Woburn High School.
Jeremy has had the opportunity to work with college and professional goaltenders as well as talented youth goalies and all levels in between.
Sebastian Ragno
Sebastian Ragno is a Stop It Goaltending Director at our Foxboro Sports Center Location. Sebastian is currently the Goaltending Coach for Stonehill College (NCAA D1 W) and Brown University (NCAA D1 W). He also is the Associate Coach-in-Chief of Rhode Island for USA Hockey’s CEP and a scout for the Danbury Hat Tricks. Sebastian will be based out of the Stop It Goaltending Development Center located at the Foxboro Sports Center in Foxboro, MA.
Previously, Sebastian recently served as Associate Head Coach for Fort Wayne (USPHL) as well as the Goalie Coach for Culver Academies (Prep), and Trine University (NCAA D3 M+W).
Sebastian also helped found and operate ETM Goaltending based in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana. He was also a coach with the Mentor Ice Breakers (FPHL).
Nathan Pickett
Nathan Pickett is an assistant coach at Worcester Academy and a Stop It Goaltending Director. Nathan also played prep hockey at Worcester Academy before playing juniors for the New Hampshire Avalanche. He then played college hockey at Suffolk University and shortly thereafter began his goaltending coaching career. A longtime Stop It Goaltending student Nathan is passionate about teaching and sharing his enthusiasm for the game.
