PAYMENT, REFUND, MAKEUP, PRIVACY, AND INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICIES

    PAYMENT POLICY

    • Full payment is due prior to the start of any program/session.
    • All summer session payments must be made 3 weeks prior to the start of the summer session or at the time of registration.
    • For single sessions (1-on-1s, Walk-Ons, etc.) a goalie will not be permitted to skate if FULL PAYMENT is not made in advance of a session.
    • For multi-session programming:
      • A goalie will be issued a warning that a balance is due but allowed to skate in Week 1.
      • A goalie will not be permitted to skate after Week 1 if full payment is not received prior to Week 2.
      • If full payment is not made by the start of Week 2 any payments/deposits made will be forfeited and the registration will be canceled.  If the goalie wishes to skate after having a session canceled, they must re-register and pay in full prior to skating.  However, there is no guarantee a spot will be available.
    • Any goalies with past due balances greater than 60 days will have their registration privileges suspended.
    • All payments must be in the form of a Credit Card or via ACH Bank Withdrawal
    • All customers must store a credit card or provide ACH information (Account Name, Bank, Routing Number and Account Number along with a voided check or deposit slip) at the time of registration.
    • It is the responsibility of the customer to keep their credit card and ACH information current and accurate.
    • The customer acknowledges:
      • By providing Credit Card information and/or ACH information to Stop It Goaltending, LLC (“SIG”) that SIG is authorized to charge the credit card or automatically withdraw via ACH any outstanding balance due under a payment plan or any outstanding current or past due balance.
      • Failure to keep the credit card or ACH information current does not absolve the customer from responsibility for payment.
      • Failure to pay any balance in full may result in removal from any programming and forfeiture of any payments made.
    • All payments are subject to:
      • A Customer Convenience/Transaction Fee (2.9%), and
      • An Administrative Fee (0.9%).
      • For those who pay via ACH Bank Withdrawal the Customer Convenience/Transaction fee is waived.
    • NOTE: Stop It Goaltending does NOT accept CASH or CHECK payments.

    CANCELLATION, INJURY AND REFUND POLICY

    GROUP LESSONS

    • Any cancellation at least one week prior to the 1st Monday of a Session will result in forfeiture of the deposit; however, any additional payment made will be refunded.
    • Any cancellation less than one week prior to the 1st Monday of a Session or after the start of a session is not eligible for an account credit or refund. 
    • Account credits will be issued in the case of illness or injury regardless of timing; however, a doctor note is required, and notice must be provided prior to the end of the training session.
    • Prorating of group lessons is not permitted.
    • Walk ons on a per session basis are permitted following Week 1 of any Session.
    • Please note that our per session walk on rate is higher per session than the rate if you were to purchase the full programming as a package.

    1-ON-1 TRAINING

    • Payments for 1-on-1 Lessons are Non-Refundable.
    • Any cancellation more than 24 hours in advance is eligible for an account credit at the discretion of the training center Director. 
    • Any cancellation within 24 hours of the lesson is not eligible for an account credit.
    • Account credits will be issued in the case of illness or injury regardless of timing; however, a doctor note is required, and notice must be provided prior to the end of the training session.

    SUMMER TRAINING

    • Any cancellation made more than 90 days prior to the start of a session is eligible for a full refund.
    • Any cancellation made between 30 and 90 days prior to the start of a session will result in a forfeiture of the deposit; however any additional payment made will be refunded.
    • Any cancellation made more than 2 weeks but less than 30 days prior to the start of a session will result in an account credit for any payments made, but no refund will be issued.
    • Any cancellation made less than 2 weeks prior to the start of a session or after the start of a session will result in forfeiture of all payments made with no refund or account credit given.
    • Account credits will be issued in the case of illness or injury regardless of timing; however, a doctor note is required and notice must be provided prior to the end of the training session.
    • Prorating of Summer Training is not permitted.
    • Walk-ons on a per session basis are permitted following Week 1 of any Session.
    • Please note that our per session walk on rate is higher per session than the rate if you were to purchase the full programming as a package.

    MAKE UP POLICY

    GROUP LESSONS

    • Make ups may be permitted the same week of any missed lessons at another available day and time at the discretion of the training center Director. 
    • We will always do our best to find a make-up spot but we can’t guarantee it during the busy seasons.
    • We ask that you notify us in advance so we can open up your spot to another student looking for a make-up that week.
    • Make-Ups will only be honored if we are given at least a 24hr notice.
    • We then schedule a make-up class during that same week at an alternate time if available.
    • If that is not possible, we require that it be made up within that same 8 week session as we do not carry “credit make-ups” to future sessions.
    • Please email your Director on the Sunday of the week in which you would like to do your make-up. They will then let you know if we have something available.

    • Training Center Directors reserve the right to adjust this policy on a case-by-case basis.

    1-ON-1 LESSONS

    • Make ups for 1-on-1 lessons may be provided at the discretion of the training center Director but are not guaranteed.  
    • 24 hour notice is required.

    SUMMER TRAINING

    • There are no make ups for Summer Programming, exceptions may be made by the Development Center Director.
    • 24 hour notice is required.

    INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

    • Stop It Goaltending makes every effort to be open even in the face of the sometimes difficult weather we face here in New England.
    • However, for the safety of our customers and also our staff we are sometimes forced to close.
    • In the event of a closure, we will post a closure notice on our website (www.stopitgoaltending.com) and also on our social media.
    • Please follow us on X, Instagram, and Facebook to get the timeliest notices in the event of a closure.
    • To the best of our ability, we will schedule a make-up for any session(s) missed due to unplanned closures.
    • In the event that we are unable to schedule a make-up session we will provide an account credit, a partial refund or we will work with you to successfully resolve the situation.

    • These options are made available when you sign-up for our email lists and in email messages delivered from Stop It Goaltending and its subsidiaries. 
    • Stop It Goaltending™ and its subsidiaries abide by the CAN-SPAM Act, and maintain the integrity of its regulations, including, but not limited to, displaying our mailing address, a one-click unsubscribe mechanism, and deploying commercial electronic messages based on explicit and implied consent, which whom we have an existing business relationship with.
