SIG Welcomes Clay Adams to Staff

Stop It Goaltending is proud to announce that Clay Adams has joined the SIG staff as a full time Director. Clay most recently served as the Goalie Coach and Assistant Coach for the Lincoln Stars of the USHL where last season one of his goaltenders was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens and the other signed an NHL entry level contract with the San Jose Sharks.

Clay’s career started by interning with the Washington Capitals while completing his Masters Degree from Georgetown University and then as the Director of Player Development, Assistant Coach and Goalie Coach at Bridgton Academy. After Bridgton, he served as Associate Head coach, Assistant General Manager and Goalie Coach with the Walpole Express in the Eastern Hockey League.

Clay also coached at Stonehill College before moving on the the USHL for the past two seasons. Clay will be based out of the Stop It Goaltending Development Center located at the Foxboro Sports Center in Foxboro, MA. Clay Adams can be reached at clay@stopitgoaltending.com.
