The Stop It Goaltending GCG Women’s Prospects Camp is a five day boarding camp at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA designed specifically for top College goalies. The are only 12 goalies admitted into this group and on the ice at one time. Dave Flint, former USA Olympic Team Assistant and Goalie Coach and current Head Coach at Northeastern University, joins Boston University Goalie Coach Amy Zappen and leading GCG and college coaches in offering a week of on-ice instruction, off-ice training and lectures. This program runs Sunday through Friday and features 10 hours of on-ice and 16 hours of off-ice instruction. On-ice training consists of a combination of skating drills, techniques and strategies, puck handling and competition. The off-ice training is a combination of speed, quickness and agility training, strength and conditioning exercises as well as yoga, video classroom sessions and theory. During the week participating goalies will stay in the Merrimack College dorms and eat at the MC cafeteria while under 24/7 supervision.

All SIG Camp Goalies receive the Premier Athletic Assessment™ as part of their camp. The PAA is the combination of tests designed for the dedicated athlete to provide quantitative measurements of physical and mental attributes. The tests are a state of the art work up which produces a comprehensive profile of the athlete. The PAA™ includes a baseline concussion test, vision test, cognitive test, agility, strength and power test as well.
