Summer Specialty Clinics

Type: 8 Week Clinic Level: Pro/College/Junior/Midget/HS/Btm/PW Ages: (03-99) (98-College) Locations: Merrimack College Stop It Goaltending Powerskating and Puckhandling clinics are designed for motivated goalies interested in committing additional time into these two foundation skills. The clinics runs for eight weeks throughout the summer and the ice is broken into an (05-96) group and a (Pro/College) group. The Powerskating clinics consists of edge work and balance drills as well as on ice agility. Puckhandling clinics are broken into stickhandling, passing and clearing components. 2018 SIG Mentorship Program

Type: Eight Week Program Level: Junior/College/Pro Location: MC The Stop It Goaltending Mentorship Program is an eight week option for Junior, College or Professional goaltenders that are committed to getting better. Participants of the SIG Mentorship Program will train in the PGD program and also assist at the SIG camps and programs. Mentorship participants will be paid $20 per hour for working at SIG summer programs and typically work 12 hours per week. Type: Boarding Camp Level: College Ages: 96 and older Locations:  The Stop It Goaltending GCG Women’s Prospects Camp is a five day boarding camp at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA designed specifically for top College goalies. The are only 12 goalies admitted into this group and on the ice at one time. Dave Flint, former USA Olympic Team Assistant and Goalie Coach and current Head Coach at Northeastern University, joins Boston University Goalie Coach Amy Zappen and leading GCG and college coaches in offering a week of on-ice instruction, off-ice training and lectures.
